The Mud/Clay Wands (2021-present)

 

As part of an ongoing, collaborative, art-research project that investigates the passing of time, weather, water and other flows in the pasture of the Rural Alchemy Workshop in Philomath, Oregon, mud harvested and sculpted from a seasonal pond and later fired in a kiln, became wands, drawing tools, and dowsing rods to guide participants around the emanating R.A.W. pasture in April 2023.
