The Tide Drawings, Orcas Island, WA (2018).

Paper was placed on a rocky beach at low tide to rely on chance and natural elements for mark making. As high tide approached and again receded, the paper was submerged, torn, and folded. Relying on water and rock, The Tide Drawings are an improvised interaction, grounded in drawing, with landscape, performance, and time.
